Like Ted Williams not sitting out that double-header and ending at .406, Hall refuses to let down his fans...Hall's very obvious goal of getting his OBP under .300 is almost complete. Very impressive surge at the end to make it happen.

Our offense is hateful.
Our offense is on the DL and will be back next spring. The same cannot be said with any certainty about the back end of our rotation.

I hate this fact, too.
And I hate that Josh Beckett is now one of the "back end" guys. Sigh.

Well, once we started counting Ass Starts, Dice K all of a sudden becomes a better pitcher. Maybe he doesn't want to be the team leader is AS's.
With Lackey and Beckett on the staff, he's probably safe.
Edit: And if things look precarious, he can always hide out on the DL.

I could see all three of them having sub 4 ERA's in 2011. I could also see all three of them having ERA's over 5 in 2011.

Well thats just about the only way to have Lowell score from 2nd on a single. RF needs to fall over
Markakis was so excited that Lowell was running that he tripped over his own feet

Fair enough on its face, but I can't be responsible for anything that happens during a Varitek AB. Why is he getting playing time?

why would anybody run on a full count and less than 2 outs with Tek at the plate?

Four runs in one inning for the Rays. I surely would like to see the Sox do that, like SOON.

Dice K couldn't wait to get back out there and do everything he could to give back the lead.
3/5ths of the rotation has perfected this.
