Any coaches tried this?
QUOTE
Scorekeeping apps like GameChanger and iScore, the two with the most ratings in Apple's store, arrived in earnest with the iPhone, even though neither of their key developers had used a baseball scorebook before designing their products. That's partly why the apps cater to baseball neophytes.

At the same time, each game's statistics—even advanced ones, like first-pitch strike percentage and hitters' spray charts—are sent into sortable online databases, eradicating the need to transcribe into a spreadsheet. The apps also create live game streams so parents can follow Little League teams like they're the Yankees and Mets.

"Our mantra has been, score what you see," said Brett Law, the founder of iScore, which was acquired by ESPN last year. "If the ball's thrown to second base, just touch the second baseman. If it goes to left field, just touch left field. It's simple enough for moms and advanced enough for stat geeks."

LT - I have over 290 apps in my iTunes account (between me, my wife, and our oldest) and I have left feedback for maybe 2-3 of them. iScore is by far my all-time favorite app. I HIGHLY recommend this app. I've never tried GameChanger (this was actually the first I had heard of it), but iScore has always been great. Back when we were waiting for 2.0 to get approved, their forums were highly monitored by the staff and questions were answered extremely quickly. They were also quick to implement suggestions from users as well as correct any issues that users brought to their attention.

They've since been bought out by/merged with ESPN, so I'm not sure what their CS is like now, but if the developers still have any say in things I'm sure their level of commitment is still very high.

GameChanger did some beta testing with our indoor league last winter and received great reviews from the coaches and parents who used it.
