---------------------------------------------- Casillas
------------------------ Lucio (Skrtel) ------------------ Puyol (Lugano)
Maicon (Sergio Ramos) ----------------------------------------------------- Gio © (Lahm)
------------------ Schweinsteigert (Xavi) ------ Sneijdert (Honda)
Muller (Ocil) -------------------------------------------------------------------- Robben (Kuijt)

I seriously couldn't come up with a second outstanding keeper. Maybe Germany's Neuert. Stekelenburg had some good saves against Brazil, but was shit against Uruguay.

What about Muslera? He may have been a bit shaky on Saturday but he was solid up until then.

RB/RWB: Maicon (Ramos)
RCB: Lugano (Mertesacker)
LCB: Puyol (Lucio)
LB/LWB: Lahm (van Bronckhorst)
CM: Schweinsteiger (Iniesta)
RM: Ozil (Honda)
LM: Robben (Donovan)
CAM: Sneijder (Xavi)
ST: Forlan (Muller)
ST: Villa (Klose)
I gave the edge to Klose over Messi/Higuan/Tevez because I really couldnt pick which of those three stood out the most. They each shined in their own way. I also took the liberty of labeling Muller a fwd rather than a mid. He doesnt get the nod over Forlan or Villa because he was a little more opportunistic than they were IMO. o

FIFA eliminates official World Cup All-Star team
ZURICH (AP) -- FIFA has eliminated its official World Cup All-Star team for this year's tournament.
Soccer's governing body announced the decision Wednesday in a statement to The Associated Press. It did not give a reason for the decision.
In the previous four World Cups, official All-Star teams had been announced by FIFA and sponsored by MasterCard, with 11 players selected in 1994, 16 in 1998 and 23 in each of the following two tournaments. But FIFA dropped MasterCard and switched to Visa in 2007 after settling a lawsuit with MasterCard.

Are the doping accusations accurate, or is it just something you conjured up? I ask seriously. As a staunch defender of Spain, it seems relevant to know if my beloved team is a bunch of cheaters.
