Am I the only one that would love an Uruguay-Argentina final? That would be fucking fantastic.

I really don't see Ghana scoring in this one. The Uruguayan defense is much, much better than the US's. Though, having a great back line didn't do much for Brazil this morning so...

Buh-Bye Ghana.

Uruguay beat my squad, but they totally deserved it. Methodical, industrious team - on to the semis!

So Uruguay had to play Costa Rica in a 2 game playoff to get the last CONCACAF/South American spot, yet here they are in the quarterfinals. Because of that underwhelming performance, I expected little from them this tournament. Have they always been underrated because of their qualifying competition or has something changed between then and now?

Forlan should have done better with that first touch and put himself in on goal.

Whether anything has changed or not, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay (the teams that finished above them) are very good squads.

If the keeper isn't heading to his right that's an easy save.

Great swerver of a shot puts Ghana ahead with about 25 seconds left in extra time. Fans are getting their money's worth in this one.

Talk about a change in momentum. Ghana were nowhere for 20 minutes. Loss of Lugano is just devastating. Also can we please stop the patronizing isn't-Africa-cute shit on the ESPN commentary?

Keeper wasn't asleep. That ball was hit from so far out that it started at keeper's right post and bent to keeper's left post.

Goals are 24' across. Most goalies probably let that one in, even goalies in the WC finals. It was just a fuckin' great shot.

Is Ghana a feel-good story yet?

The Ghanaian players are a big bag of dicks. What's to feel good about? That they can beat a country which they are 8 times the size of? I'm sure it will feel real great to watch the 45+ minute display of cunctatorial football, they are about to put on. Cunts the lot of them. Dicks and cunts.

Yeah, they should start flopping and openly crying like Uruguay.
