Kuijt will move to the left side, Robben on the right. I expect Kuijt and Van Persie to switch from time to time, and Robben to switch sides as well, depending how Slowakia looks.
I just hope they keep the field wide enough. Otherwise, you will see a quick Elia for Kuijt substitution.
Needless to say, Holland should just win this game. Then again, Slovakia hugely entertained me against Italy and will come out without fear. I'm curious to see how much the absence of Strba will affect their midfield.

He looked like that when he was 19. The funniest thing is he's incredibly fast and quick. He may have the biggest "actual raw athleticism to how athletic he looks" gap in human history.

Agreed.
They stopped playing voetbal. Again.
For the game, it would be great if Slovakia can score quickly

Now they are peppering the cage and they can't find the back of the net. Man, they have been close.

slovakia not impressing with their shots on goal.

Slovakia just can't close and they have had a lot of very good chances since I wrote they were showing nothing. NL is asking for it but Slovakia might be tiring after all the effort they have put forth to create the chances they have had.

The foul in the box?

Didn't look like a dive to me, the goalie was desperate there and he threw his body at the guy. Not a bad call, IMHO, although it didn't make a difference.

Yeah. Barely any contact from the keeper. Looked like Jakubko ran out of room and then fell over.

Holland looked confident, but I hated the play - again - after they took the lead. Holland had 3, 4 hundred percent chances and failed to score or failed to let the open man score (looking at you, Sneijdert, you piece of shit midget wanker).
The second goal illustrates why it pays to have a couple of guys in your team that have a high football IQ and a modest ego. Gio with the quick free kick, Kuijt with the perfect feed. Sneijdert would have never passed in that situation...
Needless to say, I hope Chile wins today, but expect to see Brazil on Friday. Holland definitely has a chance against them, but they had better be a lot sharper, and tighten down in the area where they are weakest, by a mile; central defence.

Gotta think that a top team like Brazil would keep Holland's focus. Payback would be sweet for the Dutch.

I want to make a shirt in a tribute to The Karate Kid that says "Drag the leg" instead of "Sweep the leg" for moments just like that one.
