Awesome ball by Glen Johnson to release Rooney. More of that for England.

Anyone else trying to switch between games every 30 seconds?

I'm taping the England game for someone and our TV/VCR set up (DVR? ha) is such that you can't change the channel while something's recording or the VCR will also record the different channel. So I have England on the living room TV and the US on the dining room TV and I'm running back and forth between the two.

If you can log into ESPN3.com, they have a PIP feature.

England:
- In with a draw, if USA loses

Algeria:
- In with a win plus Slovenia win
- In with a win plus SLN-ENG draw, if winning by more than 2

These aren't right - if England draws and USA loses, Algeria and Slovenia are in. Conversely, Algeria are almost certainly in with a win - the only way they could miss out in this scenario is if they and England both win by 1 goal, and the goals scored ends up favoring Slovenia.

Just saw a good replay of a camera angle right down the line where the players are lined up. Looks like it might have been offside, after all. But barely.

Brilliant cross by Milner and Defoe does what goalscorers do by getting in front of the defender and using the pace on the ball to direct it in.

I know it sucks, but they really need to STFU with this. They're acting as if they're the first country to be screwed by refereeing errors in international football.
