Bob had a wonderful run. But now it's time to have another begun.

Win with the chin and make the future-Cy cry.

I'd like to see the 2010 Ubaldo Jimenez start climbing the ladder tonight:

BABIP: .239
Career: .283

ERA: 1.15
FIP: 2.94
xFIP: 3.62

Interleague annoys Tito too.

QUOTE
How are you going to handle things with Ortiz, Kevin Youkilis and Adrian Beltre in this three-game set?

Its actually kind of frustrating. Were going to play David at first base tonight and play Beltre at third. Either way we go, were going to have one of our 3, 4, 5 hitters not playing, our most productive hitters. I understand the concept. I know the fans love it, but we have one of our main guys that were paying a lot of money for how many games we play on the road in interleague, nine maybe, that cant play. Thats tough. It puts us at a disadvantage. So far weve handled it pretty well, but its a tough way to play.

The idiots on the big show were arguing that, during interleague, the team should play with NL rules even in the AL parks. That way fans "can see what NL baseball is all about."

Those guys are completely brain dead.

They are idiots, but isn't the "argument" that they should play AL rules in NL parks and vice versa? I've heard that one before.

Yea it would have been a real treat for the Fenway fans to see Lester pulled after 90 pitches last night. Strategy!

So thrilled I made the move to 98.5 for every show (except Dale and Holley to be fair), and I haven't looked back since. There's just something about Gresh - I can't stand him.

NL ball sucks.

There's less strategy in NL ball folks, less.

Fewer baserunners, fewer clutch situations, fewer important decisions, it sucks balls.

Yeah, Dale and Holley are the only ones I like. I don't always agree with them, but they're at least rational.

I don't think I get 98.5 here.

Can they just DL Drew tomorrow to make room for Dice-K, or does another move need to be made like calling up Aaron Bates or something.

If Drew needs to be DL'ed, I think they can make that move with Dice alone.

The injuries to the outfield are really getting quite ridiculous.

It's not that the AL has more it's that the NL has less because the NL is less.

I mean, fuck, how often is your move absolutely determined by the fact that pitchers can't hit for shit?

All the fucking time.

You know the whole thing where you're counting outs and try to steal an extra out or two and the whole question of when to replace the pitcher? When you have to pinch hit for him it removes a ton of that. When he's due up in the next half inning it removes a ton of that or forces you to use an extra bench player.

And with fewer baserunners you have fewer key situations. Just that simple.

And you know what? The best players are on the field less.

Fuck the NL.

The caliber of illegal feeds this season have been pretty shitty. Three minute delays, oftentimes terrible pic quality, and very sketchy connectability. And tonight no NESN feed. Have to listen to whoever the Rockies play by play guys are.
I really wish MLB would get their heads out of their asses and cut it with the blocking in market. Honest to god it makes no sense.
