I'm sure the Mexi/Uruguay game will be better but I can't help but wonder and want to watch how France plays after all this insane nonsense.

Early returns suggest the contrary.

You may be right, but both teams have come out attacking.
Plus we got to witness the awesomeness that is Blanco's 2 inch vertical leap.

They best was Martin Tyler paraphrasing "Blanco realizes that it's harder to get up when you're carrying extra weight, but at least talent never leaves you".
ESPN3.com has it...I don't know about more nefarious means.

Whoever loses probably has to play Argentina next round, so I don't see why this would be the case.

Well a scoreless draw would win Uruguay the group, and they are very comfortable bunkering in. Of course as I am writing this Guardado hits the woodwork.

Gourcouff (or was it Cisse?) got red carded for a very aggressive challenge in the air.
France would surrender if they could.

Gorrcouff is what Univision is saying.
I think Cisse was just disappointed.

It was Gourcouff and it was a cardable offense but I'm not sure it was a straight red given Gourcouff was looking at the ball and not the player.

Of course if they get 2 more red cards and give up 4 goals it will get even better.
