The thread has reached a new low with that reference.

Actually it's lowest point is when you decided to post in it. It's never recovered.

Actually its lowest point was probably page 1, well before I got involved.

If this was twittered I would have just opened a new thread with no commentary.

"Here we go again," the three-time NHL coach of the year told TSN. "They're trying to kill me before I'm dead. I come to Quebec to spend some time with my family and they say I'm dead. I'm not dead, far [expletive] from it. They've had me dead since June. Tell them I'm alive. Set them straight."

Yep. I pretty much just mentally checked out of work for the week though.

I'm playing some golf at some course in NH called Souhegan Woods or something tomorrow. Anyone play there before?

So are there going to be gamethreads for preseason? We just going to do them here since its still technically the offseason?

I'd say start a new gamethread as an all-encompassing preseason thread. This one is close its death.

In the Garden, hockey has it seasons. First comes offseason and preseason, but then we have regular season and the playoffs. And then we get offseason and preseason again.
Offseason and preseason.
Yes.
Then regular season and the playoffs.
Yes.
I think what our insightful young friend is saying is that we welcome the inevitable seasons of hockey, but we're upset by the seasons of our team.
Yes! There will be growth in the regular season!
Hmm!
Hmm!
Hm. Well, Mr. Chiarelli, I must admit that is one of the most refreshing and optimistic statements I've heard in a very, very long time.

I had a work-subsidized vending machine at my last job. Cans of soda were 25 cents. By making them not free, people didn't empty the machine out each night.

Costs 75 cents, and it refused to take the quarter because it was from 1967. I think the machine was made in Detroit or Minnesota.

A lie. PSK is secretly a vending machine from 1972. He needs quarters, a thousand allowances worth of quarters, to live.

I don't see "ability to post movie/TV images on the internet" in the list of expectations. I don't think you've got much of a chance, Smails.
