Syd, this may be poor timing, and I don't want to make you have to go back and check everyone, but I think I was shorted some points in the group stage. You've got me with 69 before the knockout rounds stated, I come up with 73. Everything since then looks to be correct.

EDIT: It looks like 3 points of the discrepency came in the the last 4 group games. You have me going from 59 to 69 during that time, but I picked all 4 games correctly with 1 perfect score.

The other point may have come from a score I picked exactly, but only got 3 points for. I think these are the games I picked perfectly:

Ghana 1 v 1 Australia
Cameroon 1 v 2 Netherlands

Hmm, since we have so much at stake here, I went back and checked my picks -- looks like I was shorted 5 points going into the final two games.

I have 68 from the 1st round, 22 from the 2nd round (visualize me flexing my muscles), 9 from the quarterfinals, 3 from the semis (visualize me frowning) and 3 from the 3rd place match, for 115 total.

Still, let's remember what's really important here -- Zomp is doing reeeeeally badly. That's all that matters.

Wait.

The Golden Boot is for the player with the most goals. Tie-breaker (for FIFA) is the number of assists.

This means that Muller is the leader of the pack. If he is awarded the Golden Boot (because neither Villa nor Schneidert scores in the final), people that picked Villa, Forlan or anybody else should not be getting those 5 bonus points, of course.

Mueller won the Golden Boot, but we were asked for the top scorer, not the Golden Boot winner. Mueller, Villa, Sneijder, and Forlan all finished with 5.

That's why I asked about it yesterday. You even agreed that Villa should count, until you edited your post after the game.
