Ooh! When do we find out which arm he pitches with?

This is like a more annoying version of Guess Who?

It's an NL pitcher who has an E in his name and was born in the summer.

Don't think you can call him "semi-big but not huge".

This is pretty much the downside of the Twitter era. Remember when reporters where responsible and tried to confirm stories? Now....you don't even need a story anymore.

Technically Brad Penny was born in the Spring.

That only matters if the pitcher dies; then you get a rebate

My guess it's somebody coming off a season ending injury last year who forgot to get a therapeutic waiver and fucked up bigtime as a result.

this sucks. this has gone from Teixeria to Anibal Sanchez, something awesome to a complete non-event. Ok, it's not Anibal Sanchez, but I'm sure it's going to be someone just as significant (totally not significant).
My money's on Russ Ortiz. Does he still play? who cares if he does or not.

Only thing is Pedro wasn't in camp with anyone during the spring. He's still not on a roster.

I am going for Tim Hudson after latest round of clues. Will be back to pointlessly guess again when they tell us it is an RP from the central. They finally found a way to mkae the borefest that is the news nowadays half interesting.

I'll go with old friend Brad Penny. He's on a one year deal. He's 32. A big year here could net him that one more big contract.

Except he doesn't have an "E" in his name. tongue.gif

I thought about Zito before picking Penny...thing is, not sure what the incentive is for Zito...he has a few years left on his current deal, where he is being paid a boat load of cash.
