I shudder to think about our AAA pitcher going tomorrow with this offense ;)

This game has been surreal. We're almost literally playing a AAA team, and we're doing absolutely nothing. Time after time. Just hard to keep your hands from being fists and your fists from pounding things.

Remember when you could sit and watch the Sox and somehow know if they were down by three runs, given an inning or two they'd (for the most part) find a way to come back.

Those were nice times.

This is not your 2003, 04 or even 2005 offense. 2001 Maybe.

The Red Sox come back in the ninth. Get 4 runs. Paps nails it down for the win.

No problem, right?

;)

Was that the Beckett/Jeter commercial for Xbox? I just walked back into the room and caught the tail end.

I know they didn't, but it seemed as though the lineups were constructed better that would allow them to. . this one is in a coma currently.

I can't wait to see what Lowell's negative score is going to be in that Win Probability Added thing that Bosox Bob is doing on the main board. Three times he shit the bed with RISP. Fucking brutal.

I have been a Lowell defender, but he and Loretta both lost me tonight.

Skanks down by 5. At least their problems scoring runs continues too. Those pundits that picked the Blue Jays are looking like geniuses very early on.

There's a whole lot of baseball left to play...but after these last few games, I'm not as excited about the brand this team is playing. Coco Crisp is not going to make that much of a difference. This team is playing like it just doesn't give a shit right now.

Yea, OCST, I can't even watch Loretta ABs. Or Gonzalez ABs. Or Varitek ABs.

Around the 5th it felt like someone was playing a joke on me. 7 BBs off CASEY FOSSUM and fucking nothing to show for it? I don't even have words. Fucking heartburn now, too.

Those last four pitches were classic. A crushing DP on a weak, awkward hack and a 3-pitch K when only one pitch was in the strike zone.

The Sox will not win tomorrow. Dinardo will not last 3 innings. Hopefully Schilling throws a shutout, otherwise Sunday could be very scary too.

An absolute microcosm of our offense in the last ~10 games- nice start with some patience, a couple walks, runners on, and then the bottom of our lineup and... feces all over the place.
