For the Tito defenders - how do you feel now?

Honestly - NO fucking excuse for bringing him out again. In fact, no excuse for not giving him the hook in the first after the first two runs.

This is an inexcusable mound of steamy horseshit.

Bats, you better fucking be up to this task. DO NOT ROLL OVER.

End it here, Hershi.

Might as well save the bullpen and let Clement pitch this whole game. I don't care how many pitches it takes, Clement should be forced to pitch 9 innings. What a bitch.

You're an idiot.

9/3 - 8 IP, 6 H, 2 BB, 2 ER, 4 K
9/8 - 7.2 IP, 6 H, 3 ER

Yeah, he hasn't shown up.

Clement since June:

1.44 WHIP
6.78 RA
1.29 HR/9

Yeah, but a quality start against the dead birds makes it all worth it.

Can't really blame Tito if Clement decides to take the day off. This is on Clement. I don't even blame Tito for leaving Clement into see if he can get Chavez -- it's been a huge stretch of games, and it'd be nice if Clement could eat a few innings.

Clement + Red Jerseys = BAD OUTING.
(Patriots not exactly covering themselves with glory down in Ca'lina either)

I completely understand being upset with Tito's late hook but do not let that cloud the fact that this is Clement's fuck up. I don't know what is wrong with him but it is his responsibility to fix it. Damn it I am pissed. The Pats score isn't helping my Sunday any either.

He had ONE bad start in June which screwed up his ERA - June 7th. The rest, he let up ER of 3, 3, 0, 1. He had a bad July, no doubt about it, but his August ERA was just fine, and until his last start in this month.

He had a bad start. Whatever.

When's the last time we've seen this team put up double digit runs? Yeah, it's been too long.

WHY NOT TODAY????

Pound the ball.

Clement has allowed an average of almost seven runs per nine innings since June. He has either been consistently bad (which I do not think that he has been) or all-too-frequently terrible (which I do think that he has been). Neither is a ringing endorsement.

No he didn't just have a bad start. He came out in pennant race and singlehandedly lost a game. It's not like he came out and gave up 4 runs in 4 innings, that's a bad start. This was a fucking choke job of the highest magnitude.

Thank God, and I mean Thank God we have Jason Varitek to make Matt Clement a better pitcher.

Seriously, he's probably my very least favorite of the current 25. Since bitching like a pussy about not making the all star game, he has been the complete fucking suck.

The SOSH Rage level right now is peaking. I have the collective targets ranked in this order.

Clement, Tito, Renteria, Nixon, KFK, Tek, Pro.

Just to be clear, I'm not mad at Tek, I'm more mad at all the people drinking the Tek Kool-Aid earlier in the year thinking that his tutelage was going to make Clement an ace. Which is really petty and bitter but that's about how I feel at the moment.

Pearl onions?

I am disappointed with Tek's recent performance, but I am not angry with him. He did not run himself into the ground.

This game is a nightmare. One of these teams wants to go to the playoffs, the other doesn't. Can you pick? (This is a gamethread emotional reaction post, not what I actually believe...)
