Plan working perfectly so far.

But I would like to see that 2.5 game lead at some point that you promised us. :)

11:05 Pacific start time means I won't be tuning in to hear about Clement's gem until the end.

I'll throw in a clap, clap, clap-clap-clap while I'm at church.

I guess Ellis has recovered from the hershey squirts. I hope the fucker is too weak to catch up with Matty's fastball. He's been Eckstein-like annoying this year.

Love the Pro hitting #2.

I say he scores at least twice today ahead of the big boys.

had a great 3 days in Toronto this past week. two Ortiz-fueled wins and a sloppy game.

hope Toronto will respond in kind and take at least one from the Yankees.

at the game last night and what an atmosphere. play-offs start in september. for all the fans jumping on the David Ortiz bandwagon, remember, we also have the greatest hitter in baseball playing for us and he will take us through September

btw, "plays it on a hop" is code for a fielder slowing up on a line drive, making absoluetly no attempt to dive, and acting as though the ball simply fell too far in from of him to make any kind of play on.

most commonly used by sterling and kay in the late 90s for paul o'neill.

if i had a dime for everytime those jokers said "o'neill plays it on a hop" while i could see (on tv) him letting a catchable ball fall for a single, i'd be writing this post on a nice big mega-yacht somewhere.

i don't think i ever saw o'neill dive for a balll in like 6 years -- before EI came along, i watched the yanks almost every night.

Yah, need a split-screen or a screen divided into quarters, to be able to follow all the important games this afternoon. Sox v. A's, the Pats, the MFY's, and Cleveland/KC game (although most likely know the outcome of that).

Shit, Randall Gay just went down with an injury - ankle...

Jays give two right back on A-rod homerun. Watch Ted Lilly completely suck it up after dominating the Red Sox so many times.

Cleveland/KC game (although most likely know the outcome of that)

It'd be nice if the Royals could just take one of these games. Is that too much to ask? ONE game?

Jays give two right back on A-rod homerun

Arod's making a hard charge for the MVP as well. He knows it's on the line.
