Anyone have any idea when the start times will be announced for the wild card weekend games? Evening of the 3rd? Monday the 4th?

My wife has already committed us to a family event on Sunday the 10th at 1 and I am hoping that is not the slot we get...

If I were you I'd plan on being at that event because the Patriots will most likely get the Saturday night game. Especially if it is against Pittsburgh.

After the Jets/Cincy game Sunday night Goodell will announce the dates and times for the Wild Card and Divisional Playoffs.

I'm sure their will be some leaks after the 1pm games.

The Pats will not play at 1pm on Sunday. Fox has the early game on Sunday. And also since they do have the 1 on Sunday Arizona (unless they are the 2 seed) has to play on Saturday. Which means that NBC which probably would have like to select the Cowboys or the Vikings (if they're playing) for the Saturday night slot won't be able too. So I would think that they would take the Pats for the late game and the Cardinals for the early game on Saturday.

And you think NBC would have Brett Favre vs the Cowboys the early game on Saturday? And form what I read FOX has the early game on Sunday. Last year CBS had the early game and if you look back it rotates each year.

And for the divisional round on Sunday the late game will be an NFC game.

Of course this could change but my Direct TV guide has Kansas @ Tennessee at 1:30 on CBS next Sunday and the playoff game on at 4.

I looked at zap2it and while it does show the Fox game being early, but both games and the basketball game say Time Tenative.

I have a feeling that Ravens-Pats game will be the night game on Saturday though.

If they have the pick they would pick the Phil/Dallas game but Arizona can't play at 1 on Sunday so I think the Pats will be playing the 8 PM game on Sunday.

Not to look past next week but if the Jets win tonight and the Pats win next weekend they'll be playing San Diego the following Saturday night too as CBS has the Saturday night game and the early game on Sunday so San Diego will get the Saturday night game and Indy will get the early game on Sunday

If it was up to the league they probably would have the NFC games on Saturday but they can't. I bet you will see Arizona green bay at 430 and the patriots at 8. The only snag in this is if they wanted the NYC market if the Jets hold on then you might see them in primetime. I highly doubt this but its a possibility.

Seems like everyone thought Fox was locked into the early game on Sunday, which would have eliminated AZ playing then and required Philly-Dallas then. I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL switched things around to give Philly-Dallas the prime time Saturday slot.

I think I am still thawing out.

Just a brutal experience.

Me too. I think I was ok for the first half, being excited and half in the bag kept me warm for that amount of time. But, then halftime came and I cooled off real quick. The walk back to the car was brutal.
