"I had a dream last night where one of the ancillary background happenings was that Sam Cassell signed with the Suns and it was announced on Sportscenter. I was disappointed until a pack of dogs came along and entertained me by juggling miniature torches. I know it had to be a dream, because I never watch Sportscenter."

- He'll be in the rotation with Eck and Rice for the pre/post game shows. [more than 50]
- He'll be on MLBN via satellite from Boston to discuss trades/big news.
- He'll be on a bunch of the NESN hot stove shows and Sports Desk.
- He'll write Red Sox centric stuff for NESN.com and MLB notes and whatnot for MLB.com

I'll forgive him for that, because in the same sentence he also became the only living human being who would dare make a Tom Rush reference.
None of this matters much to me. I won't see him on NESN. If its MLB or ESPN, I don't care.

Jon Gruden, that guy! Some people say he's small but, lemme tell ya, he's big!

All it takes is a better diet and the right nutrition.
It does miracles.
FWIW, I once camped out for Sox playoff tickets and I saw him jog by the park at 8am. The guy stays in shape. I think it's just his genetics.

He also had a stroke and nearly died. He only looked about 75 before that.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about the ESPN brand minus Gammons. ESPN.com has senior writers like Rob Neyer who thinks Jed Hoyer and Jason McLeod left Boston for the Diamondbacks. He then tries to rationalize what Hoyer and McLeod were thinking:
Wednesday Wangdoodles

wow. just wow. Byrnes has been the GM there now for what.. 3 years? If you're a baseball writer for the 'Worldwide Leader', wouldn't you think there are fact-checkers for this kind of thing? Not to mention, the SD thing happened just a few weeks/days ago.

Have to disagree. Craig Reynolds' reappearance on TV has made MLBN unwatchable for me when he's on (not that ESPN doesn't have any duds, like Rick Sutcliffe). Chip Caray, no longer of TBS fame...they've all got some people that should never see a microphone.
Edit, love it,
