The Jets must pay. Launch all missiles, fire all cannons, empty every clip. Just destroy this rotten little turd of a franchise.

Wait, there's a game today? The season didn't end last week?

Man, I wouldn't want to be whoever has to play them.

Fun highlights courtesy of The Gang Green!

-I'd rather see Thomas Jones have a bid day with a couple of long, demoralizing clock eating drives right off the bat. Their defense sucks, and even their own coach knows it, the Jets have to kick their ass right off the line from the start and keep Brady and those fags on the sideline. Really. It could happen.

-Get on Bradys knees. If he is gonna get the calls take his punk ass out of the game.

-I'm convinced we can win this game. We need to win it the old fashioned way, through trash talk.

Pace needs to tell everyone how he intends to send Tom Brady to the hospital. Rhodes needs to Twitter before the game and smack-talk them bitches down, then "visit" the Pats bench before the game for a little extra shoving and trash talk. Ryan needs to get on the podium and announce, "Hell, we'll probably kick their ass again."

This is what this team has been lacking for the past five games. Forget about solid football and good preparation. We have to get back to winning the old fashioned way, through pregame trash talk.

-I STILL can not wrap my mind around how a QB that COULDN'T win a starting job in college over two average QB's became Mr All World NFL QB and NOBODY in the press questions any of it.

I'm going to the game with a friend that's never been to a Pats game before. He wants to go to the Hall of Fame. How far away is it from Gillette...like, is it walking distance?

edit: also, fuck the Jets

I imagine you might have already left for the game, but if things haven't changed since last year, the Hall is closed on game days.

Among the typical chest-thumping, gay-bashing, frighteningly irrational tirades, this struck me.

I could only conjure one response:

Tom Jackson just stated on ESPN that Belichick's decision to go for it, in the context of losing games to rookie coaches (of which he included Indy) means that he didn't trust the defense and in the larger scheme of things, this is not the same team it's been in the past and they're just not as good as they used to be.

A memory stirs...

Per Jay Glazer on the Fox Pregame show (I swear to god I was channel surfing...), someone pulled the fire alarm in the Jets hotel last night. Cue the spin cycle.

How long until the revolt against BB's automaton, arrogant, spying ways? After all, they hate their coach. He thinks he's smarter than everyone! He might be too smart for his own good!

Went to the store today in my Brady jersey and got so many snide comments and remarks. These Jet fans are disgusted with everything Patriots. I did see another Brady jersey too so it was pretty cool to talk football with him in the checkout line. We were openly talking about how bad Jet fans are and nobody said anything about it.

WIN

Could there be another fuck you in Tom's future?

I'd really enjoy a thorough ass-ripping of the Jets today. And hopefully somebody spits on Sanchize's hotdog.

Let's hope so. It's not only that he's so bad at his job but that he shows no discernible ability to learn.

Somebody should show him some youtube videos of skidboot.

How will they ever recover in time for this 4 PM game?

Rhodes is far more talk than game. He's gone from being perceived as elite to below average in about a year's time.

Thanks for your info. I hope the defense doesn't get gassed without Tully. I'd expect Morris to take goaline carries away from Maroney.

Even though large parts of the NFL and many old and famous Teams have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Colts and all the odious apparatus of Colt rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Gillette, we shall fight in the running game, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our End Zone, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the screen plays, we shall fight on the long passes, we shall fight in the field and in the parking lots afterwards; we shall never surrender.

More Jet mind games:
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Kevin O'Connell will serve as both the Jets' emergency third quarterback and captain in today's game against New England.
