To be fair, everyone knows the gamethreads rules. Everyone. If you haven't figured out the system, you shouldn't be starting one.
I DOUBLY hope the Yankees lose now, because I want to see Jon Abbey murder TSD.

I'm not saying the guy doesn't deserve to get shit for what he did...I just always find it amusing.

The reaction of Yankees Universe would be similar to the guy who's head exploded when he saw that Clayton Bigsby was black.

Ask Kitchkinette how that worked out.

Yes, but you are not next in line. You're like the Cody Ransom of Yankee posters here.

It might be about me, but, that's fantastically funny.
Who is next in line, anyway? Is it truly too much to ask for a postseason gamethread starter rotation thread (now, or sometime before when the playoffs start next year, if the Yankees make it)? If there's at least that to go by, I would not have started this thread. That benefits everyone, especially you, Jon.

The real question, however, is do you realize that you suck to the degree that you do?
Edit: I ask in the interest of science (or Reverend). Take no offense.

Annnnnnyway, I am not stressed yet, obviously losing stinks, but this is a long series and I expect it to go 6 or 7 anyway.
But if the Yankees lose Game 2, I might start looking for a ledge to stand on.

Hairston last faced Pedro in 2004, so I think his numbers have be considered differently than if they took place say, this season. Pedro's 2009 was outstanding, and I think he's greatly improved his ability to mix up speeds and fool hitters. It could go either way for Petey, but I'm pulling for 7 IP, 3 R or less. I think there will be a ton of pressure on Burnett to rise up.
By right, Jon Abbey should've started game 2's thread. Per Wingack's season opener thread
You guys have been fucking this up for a while. Hopefully the MFY continue that trend and Pedro parties like his arm feels 1999.

Try Google maps... use the satellite view. Take Rudy G. and every other freak with a 2 foot diameter swastika in the back window of their pick up truck with you too.
In other news, my love for Pedro has never been stronger.

All this said, I will not be surpried if AJ steps up tonight and shuts up the haters. If he has location, he can be unhittable. Yanks need to throw Gardner in for Swish, bat him 9th and hope he gets on for Jeter, who is still swinging the bat.
But go Phils (mostly to see the bloodbath of Jon Abbey v. the dude who started this thread).

Oof, body blow. Does that mean I need to go get a ridiculous haircut today?

Pedro is more of a Magneto type.
Calm, collected, and incredibly powerful. He does bad things but always kind of sort of means well.
/nerd alert.
