The worst part is that all these assholes that move to NYC after college from parts of the country that have shitty baseball teams (i.e., most parts of the country) end up becoming Yankees fans after 2 or 3 years because they've never rooted for a team that actually wins games.

i.e., someone I know, diehard Mariners fan (and mariners fans HATE the yankees)...now a yankees fan after 3 years there.
Agreed. And the most pathetic defense -- even something with which they attack my allegiance to the New England sports teams I grew up with despite living in in NY? "Well, we're/you're in New York now." A MFY fan from New Jersey in a Red Sox bar (Professor Thom's) made that remark.

Of course, by rights and based on his flawed logic, he should have been rooting solely for the Newark Bears, NJ Generals, and Garden State Rollergirls.

kazmir looks much better in my opinion he's hitting his spots and when hes missing it isnt by much. sabathia is missing down the middle of the plate hopefully they can bunch some hits together. they're certainly hitting it hard enough.

I mean, if the ump can't see the ball, shouldn't another ump take over at the plate rather than asking the catcher to play differently? People are paying to see the players not the umps.

Eh. It happens in both cities. You think Boston teams don't get a metric shit ton of converting college freshman every year?

Shit, I know a girl from Seattle who dropped her team within three weeks. Even bought a Sox game jersey.
