Unfortunately, it will take another 3 losses like this one for the Minnesota fans to start to turn on him. They are ridiculously, absurdly, patient and forgiving.

They're Norwegian.

I'm excited about the next 6 weeks. If they can get through that stretch 10-3 they might be the #2 seed in the AFC.

They could probably be 9-4 and end up the #2 seed by winning out against a relatively easy slate to finish 12-4. (The Colts are probably going to run away with the #1, but the Broncos aren't winning 12 games) The two hardest games of the Pats season are @IND and @NO. If they win either of those games they're almost a lock to be the #2. Even if they lose both it's still a possibility.

It sucks that we have to wait 2 weeks to see them again.

I'd worry about this Dolphins team before worrying about the #2 seed. The Dolphins are a dynamic team. This AFC East is going to be a dogfight all season long.

I'm presuming you meant to say the Jets, but even then I don't think it's an accurate description of that team.

Stop and think for a minute about the level of quarterback play Vikings fans have been accustomed to over the better part of the last decade. It's probably gonna take more than 3 more tough losses to get them to turn on Favre.

It's Brett Favre, not Warren Moon. He'll always be a Packer deep down, and even Minnesota fans know that. 35% of the joy they had in getting him was that it would be sticking it to the Pack. If he puts up a stinker in GB next week, if he shits the bed, then people will start to wonder if it was the right move.
