Should be an entertaining series...we got some Manny, some closer-fail possibilities, some Pedro to the rescue or not, some Joe Torre post season managing, and Charlie Manuel post game news conferences, which are always a treat.

Game 1 - Hamels vs. Kershaw
Game 2 - Pedro the Great vs. Vincent the not-so-great
Game 3 - Kuroda vs. Lee
Game 4 - Wolf vs. ??? (Happ?? Blanton?? Hamels??)

Kershaw has a .200 OBP and the lowest ERA since June 1st in qualifying MLB starters. Or, so TBS pregamers just alerted me to. This will be an interesting matchup against a streaky Phillies team.

This is your second consecutive appearance in the NLCS and you're one of the most storied franchises in sports. Time to ditch the lame towel waving Dodgers fans. You too Phillie fans.

So Chip Caray, Buck Martinez, Ron Darling, and Craig Sager doing the NLCS, and to trump that Fox will roll out Buck and McFuckface.

What an absolute abortion with these piece of shit broadcasters calling these game. On par with the umpiring.

I can only imagine TBS had this set up well before the division series started. Chip Caray was such an abomination in the Yankee/Twins series there is no way he could have gotten the gig based on that.

Hopefully this is the last season we are forced to listen to him. His combination of inaccurate reporting, inappropriate excitement (or at times lack thereof), and moronic general talking points is the worst I've ever heard.

Phillies fans wait for for '08 Hammels to come back the way we spent two years waiting for '07 Beckett.

Just got in. I have to root for the Dodgers. My restaurant was deserted tonight and I got sent home ealry, making virtually no money. Everyone is watching the freakin' Phils.

I don't know what's worse, the nonstop ads for Blackberry with that awful Beatles cover or the nonstop ads for George Lopez.

When TBS does baseball they lock in only like 3 sponsors so you see the same ads over and over and over. Super annoying.

Well, no one else wants their product associated with TBS' shitty broadcasts.

Still, always looking on the brightside, I say TBS is about 2 million times better than FOX Sports.

Fox always cuts off a pitch or two to let their commercials run their course..

As long as Chip Caray is employed by them, they are worse. He's worse than McFuckface (as someone else called him - love it!) if you ask me.

Hamels has settled down and looks good. Philly needs some RH bats to do some damge vs. young Mr. Kershaw here.

More offense please; I'm a little bored.
Edit: cool, good start mr. ee-ban-yez

Man he's behind EVERYONE in the count. This is bad. Utley gets the RBI if Rollins takes the BB.

EDIT: Lucky out right there. BABIP gods beginning to like Kershaw again.

Meaningless wild pitch, really. Rollins scores on any hit anyway.

Unless Werth has anything to say about it...

First and third. Pitch to Howard with Kershaw's lack of control? Better Howard than Werth, I suppose.

Chip thought Utley walked after the 2-1 pitch. And then the TBS scoreboard operator had a runner on 1st for the rest of the at-bat.

#50 Red Lunar Eclipse

  • 512 posts

Yeah, that'll be it for Kershaw. Torre was banking on Howard's SO and swinging at pitches out of the zone. Just so happens he missed out of the zone EXACTLY where you CAN'T with Howard--low and inside.
