I shall yield to Doctor Zero, if the masses decree as such. All I want is a creamy nougat center of glorious victory.

Make it so.
It's only game 2
Make it 1-1, go back home. Easy.

I don't necessarily disagree with the premise, but isn't this just a list of AL starters based on ERA by month? Not very telling, if you ask me, especially considering some of the shit luck Beckett had this spring.

Tonight = awkward smiles, bad wine, recently-laid-off women, and a Red Sox win. C'mon, let's do this. We've done it before.

If that is the case, my feelings won't be hurt. I saw one wasn't started yet, so I started one. If there was a playoff rotation set up that I am ignorant to, my bad.

Will you at least catch the Pats game?

No, but the DJ will be providing real time updates.

I was at a wedding last October and while we were unable to get them to bring in a tv to the reception, there was a guy with an iPhone who kept giving updates and the DJ let him use the mic, until finally for the last hour or so we completely derailed the party and got the WRKO feed put on the radio. Best wedding ever. Unfortunately, the groom was a Cardinals fan.
Congratulations, and good luck.

My wife and I got married (in Connecticut, coincidentally) on the night of game 2 of the 2007 ALCS (Schilling started). The DJ kept us updated throughout the reception.
My wife didn't find out about the small tv hidden off to the side of the dance floor until the next day. We lost that game, but obviously it all worked out. I hope your wedding mojo works!

That could be dangerous. Assign this task to one of your ushers. If you don't have a friend capable of providing you with constant pertinent updates, you did a shitty job picking your wedding party.

If the Red Sox are eliminated during your wedding your marriage is doomed. I suggest that this scenario does not happen.

I feel for you. My sister got married during Game 6 against the Mets in 1986............Never left a wedding feeling so pissed in my life.

Good call. This is the plan to utilize. Though Foulkey should have known better than to get married in October.

As I left Disney Stadium last night, fans kept yelling "Go Home Boston!" They had a look of glee on their faces. Then I said, "At least you won't get swept this year." They had nothing. Their faces turned sullen like when Jason Bay hit the homerun in Game 1 last year..
I hate people from the OC; fucking frontrunners.

Then why the fuck are you getting married? Man up, for Christ's sake, and admit you want to take this step in your life. Stop trying to play Internet smartass about it and when someone tells you you're making a mistake, tell them to fuck off because you know you're improving your life.

My wife wanted to get married on my birthday. I said 'fuck that' and we moved it up a week. I found the loophole.

Please baseball gods make it happen. I'll be there tonight and I'd love to avoid that crap.
Gotta agree with you about Oaktown too. I saw a game there a couple years back when the A's took the third of a 4 game series. I thought the guy behind me saying "Boston hat wearing asshole" might stab me.
May BABIP be the wind in our hair tonight.
