Nice hustle by Rollins. A lot of guys on a sac fly assume too much and ease up down the line.

Brad Lidge to close a game in Colorado?

No, this won't end well.

I assume everyone is rooting for Philly?

I am. I lived near Philly for a while and I like the team. I like how they play - they remind me a lot of the 03/04 Red Sox (more the 03, considering the bullpen situation).

I hope not. Lidge is an awesome dude who I'd root for on 29 teams. Paps I'd only root for on the Sox.

I am on quite the schneid with the pro sports teams I root for (no need to list them, you guys know, but a special shout out to the Bruins for not showing up today against the fuck'n Avalanche today) so in an effort to turn things around I have procured tickets for today's game.

I'd like to see at least one game five.

Still wouldn't have scored more than 1 run in the first two games so I doubt it makes a difference.

Can't find the clip of when he jumped over a Dodgers pitcher in Spring Training on YouTube, but this is cool as hell too.

Manuel looks like a genius for putting Ben Francisco in! Ibanez is nowhere close to that ball.

This is where not having an effective Lidge kills them. Any team that gets this far should be able to call on their closer to face Giambi in that spot and get the 4 out save.

Ive been rooting for the Rockies all the way. I work in a Restaurant outside of Philly and when the Phils are playing postseason games, no one comes to eat thus I don't make money. So I pull for an early exit so I can make rent.

J.C. Romero or Scott Eyre could have been useful there, also. It's been a tough season for the Phils pen.

Why would anyone want the Rockies to win this? Anaheim and Philadelphia are two teams left in these playoffs that have any shot of knocking off the Yankees.

I agree. This is huge for the Dodgers. They either get the Phillies without Lee or Hamels in the first two games or their division rival whom they beat 14 out of 18.

Watching the other 7 teams in the playoffs, was there a deader team than the Sox? A deader building than Fenway? A team that had less chemistry? A team that looked more bored and entitled to playing in late October? Jesus.

I don't care who wins; I just want to be entertained. I want a game 5 for the simple fact that do or die games in playoff series rule.

And I wouldn't be totally shocked if the Dodgers beat the Yankees.

If I had seats right behind the dish next to the spaz with the Elmer Fudd hat, I'd knock him the fuck out. Each and every big spot with the Rox pitchers out there, he starts waving that stupid towel like the imbecile he is. Yeah, Im still bitter the season is over.

Oh and on a less pissy note, I always thought that Fowler was some little speedster. Shit, his frame looks just like Cameron Maybin's.

Baseball blows, now.

I love watching a feisty team make a come back (other than the Yankees) and frankly the Rockies deserve a little respect-- except for those nauseating white hanky fans.
