If the Tigers win this, I wonder if a bloody Mrs. Cabrera is going to become like the rally monkey in Detroit.

Wouldn't that be a rally octopus, being Detroit and all?

If they're already thinking bullpen they might as well let the Tigers go to New York.

I meant they would have a burnt pen for Game 1 tomorrow, but they are damn good...

The bottom of the Tigers order would suck in the NL.

A double play is old-fashioned baseball? Right...

Nice DP to end the Tiger inning. Somehow, I think the momentum is still with the Twins here, likely because of Toldedo's Detroit's bullpen. Plus, the noise level, I suppose.

Clay Buchholz'd a throw to first with runners on the corners. Make sense?

Yeah got it thanks.

Definatly rooting for the Tigers right now. Porcello would at least have a chance of beating the Yanks

If the Tigers win, I kind of wish Porcello was pitching twice against the Yankees instead of Jackson.

Verlander, Jackson, and this version of Porcello have a chance to take the Yankees to five game. Not saying they will beat them, but they can make things interesting.

Wow, didn't realize this is Porcello's fifth time facing the Twinkies this season. You would think they would've figured him out by now.

I think I am going to make a JulE6 web applet which allows you to just refresh the page and generate a random piece of hatred directed toward your team.

Choose one adjective from Column A:

disgraceful
shameful
unacceptable
pathetic

Apply to one noun phrase from Column B:

black hole
moron
piece of shit
retahd

I have a hunch it really isn't in and of itself. It just seems that way because we know whoever wins will be steamrolled by the Yanks... so it doesn't matter.

Unless winning the AL central will suddenly create jobs for %30 of the city, I don't think this game means shit to the people of Detroit.

Any idea who that smug umpire is in the One-a-Day pill ads? Speaking of umpiring, the umpiring is absolutely atrocious.

I couldn't disagree more. I know a lot of Tigers fans who are quite passionate about baseball, feel their city has gotten a big F-you from the country and actually, having playoffs there would help the city's economy.

Between Jackson, Porcello, and Verlander TWICE, how could someone not want the Tigers to face the Yankees?

Having said that, Detroit will now lose every game of the ALDS by seven runs or more.

When Chip Caray keeps talking about "having a date tomorrow in New York", I just keep thinking the Yankees will dump this loser on the first date.

Watching that AB....while it was a total douchbag thing to do....I'm not sure Ms Miggy was in any real danger if he was swinging like that.
