Sorry to disappoint you, but Papi didn't stick around. Neither did Victor.

Does anyone else think "celebrated" means "we gave Paps the booze and watched him make a fool of himself for a while?" I suspect it was probably pretty sedate given the circumstances.

Edit: whooah. The icons are hypnotic.....

Baldelli in to pitch before it's all said and done tonight?

Dustin Brown looks like an arm injury waiting to happen. Someone needs to work with him on his mechanics.

He's got nothing. Bring in Nick Green.

Tito should have Varitek pitch. Not only was he originally a pitcher, but, if he messes up his arm, Tito feels no reason to use him in the playoffs!

Well, the second string catcher is behind the plate, the first string catcher is off and the third string catcher can't throw the ball 60 feet.

Yes. His motion demonstrates the dreaded inverted lump.

He looks like he'd be good at throwing darts, though.

Toronto has played well over the last month, 17-14 including the sweep. They look like they just quit on the season in July and August after management quit and tried to deal Halladay, and gave away Rios, now they are relaxed and playing for contracts or whatever.

Pawtucket probably would have cared more though and tried to win.

But then I looked at the box score.

Waterdown lineup, plus(I'm assuming) Tito using all called up relievers to rest our BP & tryouts for the postseason.

On the brightside, I'm hoping MDC sucking tonight (even in a blowout) will prevent him from seeing postseason play
