As long as it means more Steve Harvey in our lives, it's a win.

I was at that game and still have it on the dvr as we got on tv in the 8th...people calling me during the game while Steve Harvey was on wondering wth was happening in the dome...too funny...

Hope they dont run on Vic as rampantly as they did yesterday. Since Martinez's arrival, his 12 CS% is the same as Tek's (at least before yesterday's mess).

Worst in the majors vs. the SB. Any Buster Poseys in the minors? Freaking Damon can still run.

Breathing, too.

I always feel like, the last few years at least, he never seems to hit balls out of the infield but always manages to get a few hits against us. Beyond annoying.

Looked like the throw to 2nd didn't have much on it, otherwise they might have gotten 2.

With FOX ad time between innings? Seriously? I'm expecting the game to end sometime, around 12:30-1:30 AM tomorrow.

I don't understand the Drew makes too much shit, and then people want to give Bay $15M a year. Drew is a better player than Bay. He's only a little worse offensively, and is 20 runs better defensively.

Bay is only a "little" better offensively? Actually, I can sorta see your argument, the numbers are closer than i expected...but then we get back to that whole thing of...he doesn't play enough...because with more at bats would come more power numbers, right? Bay's power numbers are MUCH better than Drew's.

Drew .270 21 63 .388 .499

Bay .265 36 115 .385 .542

I think the reason people are saying give Bay 15 million a year, is they are afraid of this team without those 36 home runs and 115 RBI. I actually was saying that I feel as a whole that salaries are crazy...but again if the Sox have it, and are willing to give it...I am not super crazed about it. I like Drew as our right fielder...just was trying to explain (as much to myself as anyone) why he doesn't play as much this time of year against lefties.

wtf is with Martinez? I never caught when I played ball but didn't they teach catchers to throw from the ear? Every throw is of his looks like it's gonna sail over the centerfield wall!!! rolleyes.gif

I'm curious as to what his performance will be next year. I wouldn't be shocked if he got back to 30HR. I wouldn't be shocked if he had 10. edit: hell I wouldn't be shocked if he even got back to the high 30's.
