Heidi talking about Nick Green's "dead leg" on the pre-game. You can't buy this kind of entertainment.

It's a quilt. Nick Green knitted it for her.

Why doesn't the starting pitcher for the road just team stay in the bullpen until the inning change? I've never understood that.

What if the road team bats for 20 minutes?

Would have been kind of fun if Bones tried to stretch that into a triple.

When Headcase doesn't win the Cy, voters will point to tonight, the night he got pounded by the Red Sox, as the night it slipped through his fingers.

Hey ... if the road nine have to stand on the field while Ronan Tynan sings for 40 minutes, a road pitcher can sit on the bench for 20 minutes in the 1st

Google is failing me, but I believe Heidi is on record as saying her "pet name" for Nicky is "Tripod". So I guess he's doing ok.

Byrd is still not the wyrd. I'm surprised that Gonzalez and Pedroia didn't stop those -- their gloves are usually magnetic.

Does Byrd get Tito's Wake treatment, ie., he stays out there for 5 innings even if he walks 15 guys? Or maybe he'll use one of the 12 pitchers in the pen this time?

It's really great that we had too much starting pitching this spring... Paul Byrd and an injured Wakefield are our 4th and 5th starters.
