This guy is throwing some FBs right down the middle and they aren't making him pay for it yet. Papi had two meatballs there and missed one and popped the other up.

Reddick missed the memo(but not the meatball). Rookie mistake.

If Josh Beckett had a flat curve, a fastball that had no movement, and shoddy command....

Thus the Brad Penny without a 98 mph fastball comparison.

Believe Millar gave him the name. Compare face shots and it should be clearer.

Lester should throw 80 pitches and be out of there. GIve Bowden some work or something

Not actually that horrific a pitch, though a bit high. I might chock that up a little bit to Wigginton being a big dude.

Edit - Whoa, Mike Lowell fielded that ball.

nice pitches at the end by Lester.

And the HR pitch was on the inside corner. Wigginton just got inside on it, was a good job of hitting, not a bad pitch.

That's nearly the same pitch that Wigginton hit out off of Buchholz: it looks like that belongs more prominently in the Wigginton scouting report -- don't try to beat him with an inside fastball for a strike.
