And beat them.
Beat them hard.

1. They're bad, so the Sox tend to play well against them
2. I get to watch the games on MASN, so I can use my laptop during the game instead of my wife's tiny little Acer
3. I get to annoy my coworkers today and, hopefully, on Monday
4. Depending on how much of my leash my wife releases, I might be going to the game on Sunday
5. MASN has a commercial with a very attractive woman. I couldn't find her picture on the web, but this is probably close enough:

Gotcha!

Ha! Fooled you!
You sneaky fucking bastard. Thankfully I know your little game and as soon as I saw Palmer's head (the one with TWO eyes) I stopped myself.

Ditto your whole post, except I'm hoping to get my leash released for tonight's game.
Also, Jim Palmer makes me laugh and the baby Jeuus cry.
Let's go, Clay!

Wipe your ass with this team, Clay. Win it.

On a Friday?
Anyhoo, really good matchups all weekend. Even the Dice-K game we get Berken. If Clay is on tonight things would seem to look strong for a sweep. Hopefully there will be another sea of red this weekend.

Started grad school recently. Days have lost a lot of meaning outside of when stuff is due. I was only dimly aware it was a Friday tbh.

Coincidentally, as I'm calling you a sneaky fucking bastard my 4 year old arrived with "The Muppet Movie" in his hands. "The Rainbow Connection" still chokes me up after all these years. Too bad Jim Henson didn't believe in doctors.

Also, Gordon Edes and the Angels can cry me a fucking river.

The Angles get naked when they talk about the Sox? Do they turn down the lights and put on some soft music as well?

It's unbelievable that we're still hearing about the Angels and their woe-is-me attitude a couple days after the fact. Yes, it was a borderline pitch that probably should have been called a strike. How about calling out your left fielder for jogging to what was a pretty routine fly ball for a lot of LF? How about Fuentes allowing that situation to occur in the first place? There seems to be very little accountability there in the way they're publicly handling it, and it's annoying.

It's always easier to blame others than to take real action.

Honestly, to me it doesn't even matter. In my opinion, they pretty much all taste the same. Except the orange ones - like, what the fuck, I don't want candy, I want fresh breath.
My point is, I don't even see why anyone would want to trade.

Yes, which is why you go 'tit for tat' instead - because then it really matters.

There will be many Soshers in attendance on Saturday. PM me.

The matchups definitely look good. Guthrie tonight is the best Baltimore puts out there in this series by a wide margin. And while he isn't absolutely godawful, he ain't that special either. He has his moments- he shut down the Rangers on the road, and the Yankees right before that at home. Yet he also gave up five last time out against New York at the bidet in five plus innings. So he can go either way. But I figure he'll go five plus and give up four to five runs.
Which will be more than enough for Buchholz, who even at his worst could manage to keep these guys to four runs in five innings. although I think we get the great Buchholz tonight, and he'll go seven, seven plus, two runs at most.
Even if Buchholz the great doesn't show up and instead he puts on a semi shitshow tonight, all the Sox need is a inning or two alone with that Baltimore bullpen. I can see the Sox easily making up two or three runs against that pen.
Everything on paper about this game, this entire series, even, seem to be in the Sox favor. But still, they gotta play the games.

Annoying? No way. It is beautiful.
The only thing that bothers me in that article is that Torii Hunter is trying to get the Angels to take responsibility for their own failures. As long as Scioscia has his head up his ass and keeps whining, he gives the Sox a huge advantage.

Lots of bad karma going on already with the overconfidence. Look at what the A's did to the Rangers, and in Texas no less. A's 19, Texas 1, cumulative.

That's because he was referring to the game all true geniuses play:

That's because they weren't fucking, they were "making love".
Now go buy some flowers for your girlfriend/wife you insensitive bastard.

Fidelis might be better advised to buy some flowers for his sister -- he owes her some, along with an apology.
And he owes us something too: not necessarily a BJ or even $50, but definitely something less clothed.

Gross.

I, on the other hand, enjoy it very much. If (IF) the Sox bounce the Angels out of the playoffs again, it will be interesting to see exactly what shade of red Scioscia's face turns. I would have to think that that would put him only 1-2 years away from the Cleveland/Hargrove treatment.

I was totally expecting him to post a picture and just claim it was his sister. Who would know?
It would be even funnier if it happened a bunch of times(with a different "sister" each time).

I thought that was why he had "a dead leg". They didn't actually say which leg it was.

Agreed.
I kind of wish he did that instead

Nice to see Lowell get a breather today while Varitek rides the pine.
