If this game were a musical it would be called "To Walk the Unwalkable Man".

How the fuck do you walk Alex Gonzalez and then (sort of) walk Nick Green? I mean. Fuck.

Fuck.

We finally have a counter to Mike Timlin walking the unwalkable Darin Erstad to set up Guerrero's tying granny in '04

You know what...the Sox have been fucked plenty by balls and strikes lately, and no one felt sorry for us when we were hapless in early August when the Yankees and Rays were kicking the shit out of us. So fuck the Angels. Don't walk Ortiz and none of it happens.

Who would have thought that we would win this game with our three shortstops and their bats...consecutively...fucking awesome.

Great observation.

Sweep tomorrow and the Angels will have a Chuck Knoblauch-like mental block about the Red Sox.

Also, watching the Sox celebrate a walkoff win for a 7th straight victory in September is better than receiving a blow job.

Can you even begin to imagine the 5 hour flight back to SNA ?

Yes it does.

Hard to believe we're saying this after the funk we fell into after the ASB. This team is playing some pretty good baseball right now.

I can't believe Green didn't swing at that last pitch....thats the most amazing part to me, not the blown call.

Maybe my depth perception was off but it sure did look like he dogged it.

I'll take it, but I so wish Lackey had been on the mound instead of Fuentes.

of course, that AB is where it counts.

It's early April 2009. Somebody says to you: on September 16th, the Red Sox will start Paul Byrd, then win it on an infield single to Jed Lowrie, a walk to Nick Green and a bloop by Alex Gonzalez. What kind of odds do you take on that? Every time you think you've seen it all...

Man I can't get over it.

The Angels crushed Byrd for two innings and all they had to show for it was long flyouts.

Then we win on a non-walk and that hit.

What a dumb sport this is sometimes.

I actually closed my eyes when the pitch hit the mitt and just waited to hear the ump ring him up. I actually think he had a take sign.
