I hate that.
Of course he was not himself because he was throwing to an unknown catcher

Reminds me of my high school wrestling days.
I don't throw this around lightly, unless I know it will get me laid.
I love you.

I love you.
There's a lot of love in that pic.
A lot more in my pants.

I think so. Not including him would require carrying two of Byrd, Wakefield, Tazawa, Bowden and Dice-K. I think if the potential ALDS series calls for a #4 starter, then two of the aforementioned pitchers may need to be included since one of them needs to start the game and a long reliever is needed in case the starter gets knocked out early. Even then, Tito may prefer using Ramirez, Delcarmen and Saito to piece it together. We'll see.

Uhhh... good win tonight, but then, anything less than a sweep would have been disappointing.

Hmmm, good ol' Paps...
The most recent fine arrived in his mailbox Thursday and is going to cost him $5,000. "I'm taking too long getting to the rubber," said Papelbon. "You're allowed [two minutes and 25 seconds], and I'm taking too long."

Have never seen any real indication that Baez had progressed past being a thrower not a pitcher. Didn't see the pitch or the game, but Vic being able to handle him and knowing the likelihood of getting a good first pitch doesn't surprise me at all.
e: Vic the Stick is a common nickname among some of the Tribe forums where folks consider V-Mart to be lazy and unoriginal.
