Also, Adam Jones is more or less finished for the season so we won't have to worry about him.

The matchup looks good today. Hernanadez shouldn't do too well against the Sox. And Buchholz should be able to keep these guys down. No Adam Jones, which is good (insert obligatory 'never understood why Seattle got rid of him statement here). If Brian Roberts can slam his hand in the car door on the way to Fenway or something the Sox would be in even better shape.
Still, even without freak injuries, this game looks like it should be well in hand. Buchholz for six plus, two or three earned runs, which should be more than enough against Hernandez. For him I'd guess he makes it to the fifth, but not much further than that, and probably gives up four or so to get that far. Then the Sox feast on the bullpen.
But I don't want to sound cocky about this. The O's just took two of three from Texas, so they can win games too. Hopefully the Sox recovered from their no-show in Chicago and won't look past these two games against Baltimore.

Let's see, what could you do to get her to turn around so you get a good view?
- Make sounds like Jason Varitek?
- Question the color combination of whatever she's wearing?
- Compare her looks to Erin Andrews?
- Say she's just another pretty face?
Do something, anyhow.

Amazingly they gave us that 2 of 3 help against the Rangers. The ownage of the O's is so immense we should grab all 5 of the remaining games at Fenway and Fenway South, but I suppose they could hammer Byrd just as badly as we could hammer Berken tomorrow night.
Let's just win one for now. Tonight.

I always thought that she looked more like what would happen if 13 from house and that chick that Quentin Tarantino strangled had a love child:

Good work with the comps there. I guess I meant to say something like 'Heidi's certainly good looking, but she's no Erin Andrews'. Actually, Heidi seems to stand on her own in the pulchritude area.
Sox skinny dude (skinnier than Lincecum this year) stifles O's tonight.

Alexandria. Been there once, for a day. Nice town, sort of at the beginning of the South, or at least that was the impression I got. I vote we keep your good streak going (through a Sox win) also.

Given that Buchholz is a heavy groundball pitcher who hasn't gotten many strikeouts, this is the lineup that should start with him every time.

Seconded.
Hell this is my playoff line up. I put Lowell in for Ortiz against a lefty but that's it.

Of course, they were the St. Louis Browns for the years 1946 through 1953. Also according to bb-ref, the Browns had a losing record every year from 1930 through 1941. That's also 12 years. Sorry for the nitpic; the Browns were the worst team when I first discovered beisbol. Anytime you got a Browns player in a pack of Topps or Bowman baseball cards, it was "oh crap".

I may be missing sarcasm, but Kotchman is a more valuable player than Lowell with Buchholz pitching.

Pitching, defense, maybe a little pop in the bats? I'd be good with this plan.

I think this depends on whether the Angels go with Kazmir or Saunders in Game 3 vs Buchholz.
