I have started at least one game thread each year since 2001. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. But a streak is a streak, so here I am. I'm hoping to start several of these this year. Go Sox.

Hopefully major leaguers play today and winning ensues.

Victor is catching, Lowell is at third and Bowden got activated as a bit of extra depth if Timmy doesn't have it today.

He's busy getting the tribe back together with Manny in The Dugout.

Edit: I'm an idiot who can't figure out how to post a link, but if you haven't seen it yet, google the dugout... good for some laughs.

The bad old left side defense is back out on the field for therapy. Here's hoping for all flyballs, all the time.

A little pitching, a little hitting, a little D and a little luck and hope the other team sucks. God i hate these Saturday afternoon games.

Keep expecting to see Pedey get a day off and it keeps not happening. He's lost 6 points off his avg since Aug 29th, 3 for his last 20.

Even with the day off thursday, I think he'll get one in the Baltimore two game set. Maybe Wednesday to make it two in a row. Right now I'd rather they clear this road trip and the Rangers playing the Orioles before resting a regular right now.

I've got the ChiSox lineup:

S. Podsednik dh
G. Beckham 3b
A.J. Pierzynski c
P. Konerko 1b
M. Kotsay rf
C. Quentin lf
C. Getz 2b
A. Ramirez ss
A. Rios cf

Interesting to see Ozzie put Kotsay in the 5-hole. Interesting idea, Kotsay did well enough yesterday. It's laughable, for as much as the Pale Hose are paying Rios, he has been so terrible they are finally putting him in the 9-hole.

This should be a fun day. No rhyme or reason to it, just got the feeling.

One imagines that Tito is giving Alex a day off with a fly ball pitcher on the mound to minimize the damage of Green's penchant for spazz attacks.

You have that huge Atlanta rivalry with Milwaukee just like you had a huge rivalry with Boston. The electricity in the air when these cities compete is amazing!

For anyone who has the MLB network, they're showing 3 games from the 1974 world series today. Right now they're showing game 3. Kind of fun to watch for an obsessive.

Nice YoukScoop™. Wakefield was pretty quick off the mound, but bent down gingerly.

Spotting the White Sox a multiple-run lead looks like a bad habit.

This may have been mentioned, but say Kotsay goes homerless the remainder of the year- wonder how many guys have had one home run for and one against a team in his whole season.

I'd guess not a lot.
