Was it just me or did Fed just say "Shit" on live TV?

Feds arguing with the chair ump. L O V E it. "Dont tell me to be quiet, if I want to talk, i'll talk." Then he says shit on live television. Great TV.

Not comparable. Serena made the mistake of motioning towards the judge and threatening to shove a ball down her throat. If Serena had just told the judge to fuck off or something it'd have been fine. Not necessarily good, but she wouldn't in the hot water she is now. Federer was well within his right to bitch about that and he shouldn't ahve been told to be quiet.

Wow. Two straight double faults by Del Potro to drop the third.

Del Potro just imploded in that game. Unreal. Federer up 2-1.

Point taken. But still, saying "shit" to an judge is rarely a good idea. I don't disagree with him, but judges can get bitter over stuff like that.

Fed should use the slice more, Del Potro hits the low ball into the net a bunch

crazy series of events, 4th set tiebreake, the crowd is doing the OH-AY soccer chant, then Del Potro serves, someone from the crowd calls it out, Federer thinks it was the linesman, complains to the ump for not asking the crowd to quiet, challenges the call, and IT WAS OUT!

Del Potro wins the tiebreaker anyway, forces the 5th set

Just an awesome match right now. Federer looks a little gassed.

Federer looks seriously bummed to start the 5th, kinda falling apart. Del Potro breaks to go up 2-0. Let's see if Fed can pull it together

Yeah Federer is looking really rough now. Playing the late match yesterday, which was also a tough match is really hurting, especially where Del potro got a basic walkover against an injured Nadal yesterday

He's been creeping for the last year or so, but he has all the tools. Smart server, giant forehand, solid backhand, good returner too.

Roger making so many unforced errors in the 5th. Not like him at all.

What a point by Fed to save the first match point

And he saves them both, championship guts right there

About to be the best comeback ever.

CBS never changed their digi cable lineup to show they were showing tennis. Amateurs.

What comeback. Never thought I'd see Roger play so poorly in a 5th set of a slam final like that. What a story, congrats to Potro.

Quite a year for grand slam finals on the men's side. 3 five-setters, 3 matches over 4 hours.

THANKfully they finally let him say what he wanted to say in Spanish, once they got finished with the exact specs of the Lexus!

No kidding. He asked twice and the first time he was rebuffed by Enberg who said, "We're running out time." Just awful.

He was so emotional when speaking in Spanish, it would have been an absolute shame to not let him and not let the TV audience experience that.

Great match...am shocked how easily Federer went down in the 5th. Del Potro's forehand is an absolute monster. Dont think I've ever seen Federer hide behind his racket before to avoid being hit by a screaming 110 mph shot.

Congrats to Del Potro and thank god they let him finally say something in Spanish. I mean, if the winner of the US Open isn't allowed to talk for a minute, who the hell is?
