I have no idea what the purpose of this is, but I wanted to make Nipper happy.

Chicken Tikka Masala for dinner Wednesday night followed with a buffalo chicken salad for lunch on Thursday was a bad idea.

I was surprised (pleased, but surprised) to find that we have no V&N thread on the Birthers. I have discovered, however, that my claim to be the heir of the Steward of Gondor is endangered by this documentary evidence:

Not a chance. Being the next steward of Gondor is as nothing compared to the awesome powers that will be mine when I seize the Ring of Power.

That would be a good avatar. Different, yet the same. So it would still be you. And it has a goal. We all need a goal in life.

What a perfect place to talk about the game thread bullshit that is driving me crazy. I ducked out last night because I had to, but lately it's been a really difficult place to be. Some people are trying to keep out the "mojo," but for me offering blow jobs and posting pictures of boobs and vaginas belong in P&G where I can ignore them more easily.

When it gets nauseating, I just say Bye Bye to that evening's game thread. But it would be better to be able to have a game thread that wasn't as someone said, "a brothel."

Also, I'd appreciate it if you don't scream at me if you disagree.

I mix and match Boromirs according to the mood and situation of the pennant race. After last night, I may have to go with

"Downy young Mute Swans (called cygnets) come in two color morphs: a gray form and a white form. The gray (or "Royal") chicks start off with gray down and grow in gray-brown and white feathers, giving them a mottled look. White (or "Polish") chicks have all white down and juvenal feathers. Adults of the white morph may have pink or gray legs and feet instead of black, but otherwise the adults look alike."

Looking at swans and other birdies on a pond on a gorgeous day is a good antidote to Red Sox baseball in its current incarnation.

They taste like Chicken Tikka Masala.

You're just trying to copy what the hockey forum has perfected, aren't you Nip?

Edit: Not that that's a bad thing.

So... this is backwards, yeah? Berry's off-topic thread is full of charts and serious discussion, while the main-board GT has movie quotes, images of light switches, and so on...? Isn't that more or less the opposite of what was supposed to happen?

Just curious. Meanwhile, the question about cucumbers reminded me of a filthy, filthy story a guy once told me about deep-throating a banana. Hell of a story, it was, too, if a bit heavy on the visual aids.

My interpretation was that Berry's thread is full of actual discussion and stuff and not full of stuff like

I really have no idea of the purpose of this thread. My guess is off-topic observations during that you make during the game but it's weird to have three game threads all at once.

Do you ever wake up in the morning, and are just opening your eyes, and then all of a sudden you remember that the Red Sox lost that horrible game to the Yankees? It's just like when someone you loved died, and for a moment you forgot, and then whoosh, that horrible loss feeling came over you again.

I dislike Twitter on GP but I make an exception for this guy's "Dad", who's more than likely just this guy's imaginary dad, but still funny stuff:
