Old friend Steve Lyons recently published a new book "The Psycho 100 - Baseball's Most Outrageous Moments." It is Psycho's comedic assessment of everything from his own antics to baseball fights to throws that killed birds. Includes much Red Sox content as well as Steve's take on things like Jeffrey Maher, Steve Bartman and even the ball that bounced off Canseco's head for a home run.

The Tampa Tribune's Bob D'Angelo on his Tampa based sports book blog writes in part:

This is a lighthearted, breezy look at some of the neat, crazy and unbelievable moments in baseball. There are some great plays mentioned here, too... famous confrontations include Don Zimmer being shoved to the ground, matador-style, by Pedro Martinez; Nolan Ryan’s headlock of a charging Robin Ventura; Billy Martin vs. Reggie Jackson in the dugout; Roberto Alomar’s spitting incident; and Roger Clemens heaving a fragment of a splintered bat in Mike Piazza’s direction during the 2000 World Series... This paperback is only 225 pages long, but it is jam-packed with fun facts, stories and statistics that will boggle the mind. It’s definitely a fun read.

I received Mrsbeasley's book in the mail today from Steve. Mr. Psycho was kind enough to send not one but two autographed copies. As much as I would like to keep/read the second copy for myself, it's all about the cause isn't it?
