Coming up..... Toronto, Tampa Bay and The Angels. That will do. Let's see how long the "Roll" continues".

They're better than the Mets ..... Isn't everyone?

Hey now! The win percentage of a team when a single player is in the lineup or based on the geographic location of one fan are far from meaningless.

The Mets are in their own special class.
Does Dutchy know the Sox play Seattle next?
Someone tell him.
Paul O'Neill is terrible in the booth.

Look I'm not saying the Mets or Mariners or Braves are top notch major league teams. What I'm saying is if the yankees win any series against the upcoming teams, there will be plenty of moaning around these parts about how those teams are "rolling over" for the Yanks.

Until the 7th inning at least.
And I felt the same about that Yankees/Nats series until... well...

Yeah, I can't wait for the Sox to play Seattle. I'm going to be at all 3 games

You do realize that this is just venting in a meaningless game thread? No one actually thinks MLB teams play less hard against the mfy.

Maybe there will, I'm new here. But I guarantee I won't complain about the Yankees facing a bad team if they face a team playing decently in a decent division. But the Mets with half their team on the DL and the Mariners who are a couple games over .500 in the AL West are some pretty soft competition.
You better believe I wasn't bragging about taking a series from the O's either. There's nothing wrong with admitting you aren't playing a playoff contender every game.

The only thing keeping me awake is this beer. 2 lefty junk ballers and offenses that are baffled by them. Zzzzzzzz

Well to be honest I didn't (at least not in all cases). But then I am a dumb ass sometimes.
Not foul?

LOL
P.S. - It was fair.

I would say yes since Cashman said he was exclusively (meaning this year) a reliever now.

No. Please stop. When we taunt Yankee fans and their players we must be witty about it.

I haven't seen him play much. I know he has something like 6 home runs at home and 1 on the road, so I was wondering if he was hitting any to left field or if they were all right field shots.

Ok. I wasn't sure if they were applying any Joba type rules with him.
He only threw 8 pitches in his inning last night, I figure he would be ok to go tonight.
