2009 ALS Fundraiser Audit FINAL: $39,323.52

In order to achieve total transparency of the fundraising process, as I did last year, I will be periodically posting donation receipts in this thread as monies are received. The purpose of this thread is to allow donors to confirm their payment/donation is acknowledged and properly, publicly accounted for. Keep in mind the amounts listed are gross amounts received and do not reflect PayPal fees, any item expenses, actual shipping expenses, etc. so it is not a reflection of the net donation to ALS. I will show these expense figures as deductions in this thread as they become available and are paid so we will have as close as possible to a running total of the net donation.

IMPORTANT: if you believe you made a donation or paid for an item within the timeframe shown in the chart, please verify you have received a corresponding email receipt from PayPal and/or verify the payment by logging into PayPal. If you have received a PayPal receipt and/or verified it, please send the transaction details to me and I will research. The only "missing" payments from last year were discovered to be incomplete PayPal transactions.

I will update this thread as donations/amounts warrant throughout the event. We are already near $2,000 and just getting started. Thank you all. - LT

Also, when you consider that last year we had Curt's clubhouse tour, which brought in $12,000 by itself, and this year we didn't have that one big item.

So, on the gross # we're actually quite close to the magical 37k. How much do you expect to come off in fees/costs/lap pool installations -- that is to say, how far away are we really?

I edited this morning's update to show expenses. Some are estimates. See above for the answer to your question.

That's very generous. And no, it is not difficult to figure out. PayPal is very happy to tell me the amount of their fees in the reports I use to produce the updates. You can simply use 2.81% as indicated.
