And a kudos on the 2B. He yanked the previous pitch foul to right -- but it was a majestic, towering shot, and would have been a long homer had it not drifted about five or seven feet right of the pole. But rather than admire it, he stepped back in there, stayed with his approach, and then shot a ball to the opposite field and off the wall for the double.

The guy Asheville was throwing had nothing, so I don't know how much we can take from anything (and from anyone wearing the home unis) last night. But I do know that staying within yourself after something like that, and then driving a ball the opposite way, is not so easy to do.
