This auction is for an original 11" x 14" charcoal drawing entitled The Luckiest Man. It depicts Lou Gehrig during his famous farewell speech on July 4, 1939, and is done on grey pastel & charcoal paper (Borden & Riley #410, 80 lb). The piece comes matted and framed (two-layer beveled mat, white with black trim, and black wood frame). The size of the framed piece is 16" x 20".

True, but for those hardcore rich fucks who've refused to spend $2,350 on a seat behind home plate (brilliant!!), spending a couple grand on Rip's piece would provide an outlet for their free cash while yielding exponentially greater value.
