Looks like it's going to be Tim Thomas in this one. I'll be in the last row of the arena, section 409, greatly decreasing the chance I get beer poured on me.

Win the hockey game.

Is it normally that kind of crowd? I was there for the skills/young stars game last weekend, wore my sox hat, and the people couldn't have been nicer.

It was freaking freezing tho!!!

Sox hats are alright, most people here actually like the Sox more than the Jays just because of their hate for Toronto.

There's no one better than PSK to start this game thread.

Fuck the Superbowl. We're talking SuperBruins!

ps. PSK, where's my money?

Nah, it's the bar where I met ThreeIf and Dolomite, I live in an apt. building called the Chambord.

In other news, The Chambord is the second and final stop on our planned pub crawl.

Just getting in from the Rags tilt this afternoon, an eclectic combo of beers, and then polishing off a huge plate of chicken parm at the Fours in Quincy...I don't know if it's because I have great disdain for Tim Thomas or what, but I love everything about Tuukka Rask. He's smooth, confident, handles the puck well, and shows you don't need to be lying flat on your back to make a save. The future is bright.

That being said, I fucking hate the Montreal Canadiens. I would like nothing more than to lead the division by EIGHTEEN points come about 5pm tomorrow. Make it happen PSK.

I got absolutely owned. I will concede that.

I love Tuuka Rask, if only because I like chanting Tuukka Tuukka Tuukka (two us and two ks TSC)!

PSK, please shut up those 21,271 waste of lives...

WHO ARE THE FIVE GREATEST GOALIES OF ALL TIME? TUUKKA. TUUKKA. TUUKKA. TUUKKA. TUUKKA.

Missed this one today, but just got caught up with "Bruins in 2." Tuukka is awesome, and it's good to know that we'll be in good hands in the future even after letting Manny or Timmy leave. Looch still looks a little timid and slow out there, like his timing isn't quite there yet. I hope he gets re-acquainted quickly, because this team needs his offense and physicality.

edit: DAMN i'm in the wrong thread. so... ummm....

Beat Montreal! yeah

I don't understand how that picture constitutes a failure. If I saw a cat like that, first of all I'd be impressed that he's able to balance a slice of cheese on his head. Then I'd begin to wonder how a cat was able to find a delicious slice of cheese in such an empty, depressing room. So if that picture is a picture of a failure, you can just call me the Failingest Fail who ever Failed.

Ok I'm calling for a moratorium on all mom jokes. There was maybe 1.5 funny ones, and now they are just becoming way too prevalent. A "your mom" joke is extremely difficult to pull of to perfection, and I say we leave them be.

This is not calling you out specifically JulE6. Just a thought in general.

And to answer TSC's question, I just got home, have my iced coffee, beers in the fridge, wings are defrosting for me to cook for tonight, and I'm ready to roll.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. Ovechkin has a hat trick in 3 shots (including a disgusting wrister from the top of the circle) and the Caps are winning 6-2 in the 2nd period.

And Green and Ovechkin both had dirty dirty goals yesterday in the Detroit game. There's no doubt in my mind if the Bruins didn't exist I'd jump on the Caps bandwagon with all my might.

The highlight reel goals that team is scoring is getting ridiculous. I am salivating for a playoff series against them, I think it would be some of the most entertaining hockey in a while.
