Waechter walks in a run. Bases STILL loaded, STILL no outs.

Yeah, I think this one might be out of reach pretty soon. All the more reason to win tonight, boys!

boy, tek is just lost at the plate right now.
I woulda rested him today vs. the lefty

kinda seemed like the obvious move considering how bad tek has been lately

Wouldn't it be a good idea for Gameday to provide a better description of plays? Such as: Leaping catch, almost collision, etc. Sometimes I'm "watching" a game on Gameday and a spectacular catch by an OF is described as "Player flies out to CF"

Well, we've had a hit and a walk...next on the list should be a run.

This clown is not going to shut us down.

5-0 MFY on a Crosby groundout. 2 outs, 2nd and 3rd.

Granted...he hasn't done that well lately...but with Damon out and Tek 9th in the AL against Lefties at a 362/452/667/1119 clip...it's probably not the worst move in the world...

Why is it that everytime he's up, Koskie seems to get on-base against us? This guy has had an awful season, but he owns our pitching.

There is not a single starter on this team I like to watch. Almost all of them do so many bad things like walk the lead off guy. hang pitches to bums, etc. Clement just loses his ability to pitch from batter to batter.

On the plus side, Tampa's scored twice against Wright.

Three outs! Several batters too late. Somebody grab a rope, because there's a hole to climb out of and Clement has the shovel.

I don't think it's over. Not in the 2nd inning at least, but there are sometimes when the pitcher just can't get it done, and this is one of those nights.

Edit: And if someone had simply sat Jay Payton down and told him to play his best instead of simply letting him go we would not be forced to trot Kevin Millar out there in RF where he certainly does not belong.

Well, the Blow jays did score 5 in the 7th last night against us...it is possible that the highest scoring team over the last 3 years might be able to pull together to score 6-7 runs, right?

Or is that just an absurd statement...didn't think so...need good ABs and get into that Pen with a 2-3 run deficit...
