I'll be at this game plus the next 3 home games. Let's keep the winning going.

I shall also be at this game, I plan on getting into town early in the day to find a bar to watch the Winter Classic at, then head inside to watch the Bruins sweep both ends of the home and home...

I'd be at this game, except I'm too cheap and will therefore be at TGI Fridays beforehand chowing down on some mozz sticks and buffalo wings with extra paprika and cumin. The former for color, the latter for flavor.

God bless, and go Bruins.

"Hail Hitler"

Hopefully we can maneuver our way into a Friday's without a hitch. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas out there.

This game thread forum is so outlaw aka so sach.

The bandwagon keeps getting bigger.

Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has recalled center Martin St. Pierre from the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League) on an emergency basis.

It doesn't explain what the emergency he was recalled for is.

Emergency recalls don't count against the cap IIRC, so it's a little bit of a cap maneuver to save an extra few thousand bucks per day for a deadline move.

Posting from The Garden...it appears Manny will start. He led them on the ice for the pre game skate, and was the first to get in goal.

The Penguins had a players-only meeting after the game the other night, we'll see if it makes any difference.

I had a great experience the other night in Pittsburgh, the place was sold out and the crowd was great.

It was amazing to me the percentage of fans that owned a penguins jersey and then of those fans the percentage of people that had one of the new Penguins third jersey. I would estimate 75% of the Penguins fans in the arena had a jersey and of those 75% some 60% had a blue jersey, it was incredible.

The guy sitting two rows in front of me had an Ulf Samuelsson jersey on, it took everything my girlfriend had for me not to poor a beer on his head.

I maybe saw 15 Bruins fans all night, it was sad to see how poorly Bruins fans traveled for that game.

Yueng ling was served by the beer vendor in the stands, I was a very happy guy. I kept looking around for him waiting for him to come back to my section.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and as cool as that Lucic fight was on TV, it was a million times better live. The crowd got feisty after the fight, it was great.

The Penguins should go back to the blue/white full time. The entire city doesn't need to be black and gold anymore since the Pirates blow.
