Beyond awful play by Savard to stand there holding that puck. Unbelievable.

Lots of running around in the defensive end. Settle down boys.

I was going to say something about Savard being invisible so far in this game in my last post. Not a good way to make your presence felt for the first time in a young season.

How they are only down by 1 is beyond me. What a sloppy mess this game is so far. I'm not impressed.

If this was on NESN, Jack Edwards would be doing a full commentary on the bull gang's job replacing the glass, and trashing them compared to The Garden's crew.

Edit: How much time's left in the period that we're gonna tack on before the 3rd? Is it really that big of a deal to do it this way, usually it is like a 5 minute stoppage to replace a pane of glass.

Loving the sturm-berg-kess line, loving the wheeler-krejci-kobesew line... fuck axe on the first line. I hate it, I hate it and I hate it. The 4th line has some nice intrigue to it as well, been enjoying watching them throw some shit around.

Wait... they are "finished" with the second and are going to add the time onto the third? Is this coming from the NHL to speed the game up or from VS so the can get back to their regularly scheduled programming ASAP. Doesn't seem like there was a hockey related issue to start the game 20 minutes late, and now they are changing the time definition of a period? Does anyone else have a problem with this? What if it goes to OT, will VS order them to just go straight to the shootout?

I don't know why but this just doesn't sit well with me

It's not Axe, imo - Savard and Ryder really aren't clicking. I'd love to see Wheeler and Ryder flipped (Kobasew on LW 3rd line, Wheeler on RW 1st line) for the last period - that'd be a pretty balanced attack.

Ideally I would like to see Lucic put on that line, Axelsson traded and Nokie on the 4th line.

I actually like - speeds the game up and doesn't give either side a competitive advantage. At 2:47 of the 3rd they'll blow the whistle and switch sides.

Colorado is skating circles around our defense.

Edit: The "intermission" comes at a good time, giving the PK a breather.

Only 12 shots for the B's through 2 periods. As opposed to 30 from the Avs.

I feel like they've gotten more opportunities than this but, still, they really need to step it up in the 3rd.

Great to be watching a regular season game again.

90% of players in Savard's position would have slapped that puck out as hard as they could. Even at full speed, he still managed to just lightly feather it out for a perfect feed to Ryder.

I am not liking the defense in this game. They have to shore it up. Even though we have 4 goals we only have like 17 shots

Not the best game they have played i would say

I get a little worried every time the Stuart-Hnidy pairing gets on the ice...they have ZERO mobility and they seem to have trouble breaking it outta the d-zone.

if we give up a goal with less than a minute to go someone is going to die
