Here's hoping we see the following lineup tomorrow:
Van Every, CF
Lowrie, SS
Kotsay, RF
Youkilis, 3B
Carter, LF
Ross, C
Casey, DH
Bailey. 1B
Cora, 2B
Rest up, boys.
No rest for Youks? I suppose he can get some once Lowell is cleared for action. Lowrie could possibly use a few days off as well. I guess that would have to come at the expense of resting Pedroia though and Dustin gets priority. We really need another backup middle infielder for the rest of this week. Can Diaz be called up?

No, you're taking one for the team. I'm very pleased they didn't make this game more interesting for you.

Yea Lowrie looks like he could use several days off actually. I agree that they need another middle infielder to give both Lowrie and Youks a break.
Isn't Joey Cora available?

That is Masterson's nickname from now on. The Big Donkey. Hilarious video.
Edit: Youkilis is a pansy.

Is Carmona even going tonight? What about the suspensions from last week (the crazy Sheff incident)?
He appealed
Carmona and Martinez will appeal their penalties, which were to have started Monday night when the Indians played at Boston. It was not immediately known whether Cabrera would appeal; his suspension was to begin Thursday.

(Here's something you probably didn't know, or I at least certainly didn't: Choo is fourth in the majors in second-half OPS at 1.043. The only batters ahead of him? Manny Ramirez (1.209), Mark Teixeira (1.110), and Albert Pujols (1.100).

Hmm, that's fascinating. The first talking head/announcer I hear who calls him the "Soo Choo Train" gets a swift kick in the nuts.

This fascinating, and accurate. If there's one moron who would actually try to hit Youk before the playoffs start, it would be Chamberlain.

EDIT: Sure, that pussy JD Drew's in the lineup now that his teammates who did all the heavy lifting already clinched a playoff spot. That person (can't quite call him a man) just doesn't care [/dennis and callahan]

Now if they can just find a way to get Watney away from the attention whores, I'll be happy.

When they put in the pool in right field like at Arizona, they can have her in there in a bikini.

I still think the Sox owe the MFY at least one...
