God he sucks. I love the irony of this post being right below one with a Pedro signature.

You wonder if he helped himself the last few weeks. On the one hand he is "healthy", on the other hand he sucks big time as you say.

Pavano hurt again

UPDATE, 3:03 p.m.: Shocking, stunning news from Yankee Stadium as Carl Pavano has had to leave the game with an inury. In other news, fall is coming and the sky is blue. The best part will be Joe Girardi defending him after the game. The Rajah of Rehab is back.

I would KILL to be in the dugout as he got injured, or the bullpen. I bet alot of eyes rolling and "lulz" going on right now.

It's funny how Jeter continues to get praise from fans and media for not quiting here in the final month of the season even though he had all these personal milestones within reach, but A-rod is killed.

the most diehard yankee fan i know is rooting for Rivera to give it up "so that the Sox don't win the division". Now that's bitterness - and bad sportsmanship.

Today, we are all yankee fans.

edit: I see all that was unnecessary. Rivera = automatic!

A YES replay of a Jeter fist pump after the final out when you're 9 games back. Awesome.

According to the NYTimes:

Robinson Canó left the game after four innings. He was shaken up in a collision with Tampa baserunner Cliff Floyd in the second.linky

the espn.com game recap (via AP) said in the "notes" section that girardi pulled cano because he wasn't happy about his lack of hustle
