That's rather dramatic Foulkey, but its not like Brandon Morrow came out of nowhere.

So email Abraham and tell him that.

The excellent dynamic that now exists with a hot Toronto team beating the TB Rays, and the Yankees loosing to the worst team in the AL, means by the end of the weekend, such trends holding (God willing) the Sox would be in first, and the Yankees in 4th....

Putz has still gotten the K's this year, more than 9 per 9 ip but his walk totals have skyrocketed to around 6 per 9 ip.

Ain't gonna happen they have to finish behind too many teams. There are about 14 teams they pretty much can't drop below.

There seemed to be a good sized crowd at the game. Was there a special promotion? M's have been drawing a few 50% capacity homes games this year.

if the red sox go 5-18 and the rays go 0-20 and the yankees can just win 18 of their last 22, i mean there's still a chance, right john?

Top 15? As bad as they've been, the Yankees have much more tanking to do to secure that! Lots of teams behin--I mean ahead of them.

edit: NYCSox responds with much more substance...
