Pitch count could become an issue assuming they intend to be smart about his arm; but since making any type of assumption about the Mariners being smart would be monumentally stupid, I'll just assume he's in there for the long haul.

You think Seattle is smart enough to dump all those bloated contracts and build around Morrow and King Felix?

Nah.

M's may end up with Felix, Bedard, and Morrow anchoring their staff next season. Too bad that don't have shit for position players.

LMFAO

Some mfy fans over at nyyfans.com had called him that in a moment when frustration even exceeded fanboyism. Such a powerful truth should not be forgotten.

High quality 6-pitch inning for the M's offense there.

God do they suck.

yes, the family is from the puget sound area. He was going to go to UW like his big brother but Seattle drafted and signed him out of HS.

Nah.

Over at U.S.S. Mariner they have the story of how team execs above the GM vetoed a trade to get rid of Washburn to Toronto.

I think the M's announcers can stop pointing out that each batter is "0-2" - that's pretty much a given....

Did they just say he may have a 90 pitch limit? And is already over 80?

Is anyone watching the Dodgers game? The announcer just made a very routine running catch by Manny sound like the greatest catch anyone has ever made. It was an extremely easy play.

Morrow's still pumping every fastball in there at 96 with very good command. Quite impressive as ARod waves at strike 3.

I had an argument with the guys at U.S.S. Mariner. They said Suzuki's a "great" player. I said no way. Good, but clearly not great. At a certain point, I was hitting them with his rankings in offensive production and quoting their own comments about his fielding and they stopped arguing. They said my mind was made up. I said theirs were too and suggested they should present some evidence to counter mine. They didn't.

The Japanese have one of the highest life expectancy rates in the world. I could see him moving to DH in his late 50's.

Serious question here:

Would you let him go the distance?

I think I would. It seems to be a DOMINATING no hitter. The kind of stuff that he might never have again..
