Jays beat the Twins 7-5. Ryan closed it out easily but he only looks like a shell of his former self.

I got so bored that I turned it off and read a couple of property law cases.

More interesting:

Bottom of the ninth for the Angels and the Tigers. Dear old Rent-a-ria just singled off K-rod.

Is there a closer easier to root against than Francisco Rodriguez?

There was a game in may or june that he pitched against the White Sox where he balked on every pitch with men on base. He made no pretense of stopping at any point in his motion and the umps let him get away without despite Ozzie's shrieking.

I might have said Mariano when the MFY were a threat, but not this year. One out.

Ryan does balk on almost every pitch. It's like Pettitte getting away with balking on his pickoff attempts.

We should start a thread where people predict what team Lugo is traded to this off-season. And whoever wins gets a pat on their cock.

This is why we're rooting for the MFY this week. We can make up ground, and it puts less pressure in the head to head. I said earlier, we probably need to take 5 games. The smaller the lead is, the less games we HAVE to win.
