A little of both I thinkFoulkey, just got to the game thread and was astonished to see your prediction, not because it was right, but because you used to be a Gloomy Gus sort of fellow who always predicted that the Yankees would crush the opponents, and thus your heart.
So what I wanna know it, are you doing Transcendental Meditation or did you finally realize these aren't Your Father's Yankees?

Yeah, after three 1-2-3 innings to start, I'm sure the fourth caused near spontaneous combustion....
In Alex's defense, his 4th inning strikeout wasn't exactly his fault. Greinke was trying to PREVENT him from getting a hit. I mean, come on, how was that fair?

He did make a good catch, but he's an awful outfielder and has an OPS of .707 hitting in the #3 hole.Didn't he make a fabulous catch an inning or so ago, or I am mixed up?

I'm starting to regret sitting Greinke on my fantasy team today.

shit i thought there were no outs

You have to wonder if maybe the organization enforces this style of hitting...The Royals are the only team that still hacks away like it's 1980. More first-pitch swings late in the game than any team I've ever seen.
